Patz Celebrates Another New Product Launch

(Pound, WI) Patz Sales, Inc. celebrated the launch of three new products at a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 25th in Pound, WI. The company recently introduced the 350 Model 800 Vertical Mixer, the Model A1 Single Auger Silo Unloader, and the 270 Model 800 Vertical Mixer to the Patz line of feed handling equipment.

"The A1 Silo Unloader is probably the most popular silo unloader our company has had in the last ten years," stated Darrell Patz, company president. "The single auger A1 model is unique in design to us because it is auger-driven, unlike our chain-driven models. It is definitely being requested by the market."

The easy-to-install unloader has a unique, simple design. On farm tests have shown fast delivery of silage from silo to chute. Also available, a Patz A1 KIP (Keep It Patz) package converts existing ring drive chain unloaders to a single auger unloader.

The new Patz Model 800 Single Screw Vertical Mixer is an economical TMR (Total Mixed Ration) mixer capable of mixing up to 400 cubic feet. Field tests have demonstrated this mixer to perform as well as the larger Patz Model 1100, while offering an affordable price tag for farms with a limited budget.

Patz credited company employees for the successful launch of these new products and added that many orders had already been received. Shipments of products began earlier this month.

"Thank you to our employees for a great team effort of getting the job done," said Patz, "bringing these three products to existence took a lot of work." He recognized the entire process involved from research and design to pricing, production of manuals and literature, to the entire manufacturing process and shipment of equipment.

Prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony, employees were treated to refreshments and were each given a camouflage Patz hat in appreciation for their efforts.

In addition to Darrell Patz, employees, representing various departments, taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony were Al Meyer, Jim Lesperance, Dave Kaus, Rich Robenhorst, Vern Henne, Barb Sailer and Jon Patz.
