Patz Celebrates Launch Of Truck Mounted Twin Screw Mixer
(Pound, WI) Patz employees celebrated another new product launch with a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 14th. The Model 2400 Truck Mounted Twin Screw Vertical Mixer was the first of its kind fully assembled at Patz.
President Darrell Patz recognized the overall teamwork that was needed to bring this product from concept to completion and noted that this has been the 3rd product launch and 5th new product produced by the company in 17 months.
"This project was no simple undertaking," said Patz to a crowd of over 150 employees. "We work together as a team and celebrate together as a team." Patz then congratulated staff for great teamwork and the ability to provide the right mixer for the farmers' specific needs.
The Model 2400 (950 cu. ft.) Truck Mounted Vertical Twin Screw Mixer has an impressive variable speed hydraulic motor that automatically slows the mixing screws down as the load is added to the mixer, helping maintain optimal engine horsepower. Mixing capacity is 23,750 pounds. After a three-day stop at the New York Farm Show in Syracuse, NY, February 23-25th, the truck mounted mixer was delivered to a father-son dairy operation, milking 1,500 cows daily on a 'round the clock' rotation in New York state.
Prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony, Patz employees were treated to refreshments. In addition to Darrel Patz, employees, representing various departments, taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony were Jerry Waldvogel, Marie Schwartz, Steve Fick, Roger Gusick, John Seefeldt, Al King and Rick Elfering.
